Brian Barry-Murphy‘s team fought hard to maintain City’s unbeaten run in the European showpiece this season and the win also secured our place in the knockout stage for a second successive season.

REPORT: cITY U19S 2-1 RB LEIPZIG

In the second half City came out fighting and after a flurry of chances, left the visiting defensive line on the back foot.

And after a handful of opportunities, Kane Taylor converted a chipped Mahamadou Susoho pass to rocket City’s confidence.

The boys in blue continued to work hard for each other and in the closing stages, a fantastic run by Taylor allowed him to assist Josh Adam who scored the decisive goal and secure City’s place in the knockouts.
