City midfielder Kane Taylor expressed how much he enjoys playing in the UEFA Youth League following our 4-0 win over Young Boys.

The youngster scored two first half goals to give Brian Barry-Murphy’s side a comfortable lead before Jaden Heskey bagged his own brace in the second 45.

It’s Taylor’s second season under Brian Barry-Murphy’s leadership, having made four Premier League 2 appearances last season.

Now a regular name on the team sheet for City’s Elite Development Squad, Taylor has been racking up the match minutes throughout the 2023/24 season.

And following the impressive victory over Young Boys, the tall box-to-box midfielder, who joined City in 2019 from Aston Villa, spoke about how much he enjoys the Under-19 team’s involvement in the European competition.

“I love it because you don’t always get the experience to come out and play away games in Europe so we take it as it comes and we’re just grateful that we get to play in this competition,” said Taylor.
