Micah Hamilton lifts the lid on a typical day in the life as an exciting young footballer at Manchester City...

Along with being skipper of our Elite Development Squad, the forward has also made the breakthrough into City’s first team set-up this term, making three appearances to date as well as also being part of the squad that lifted the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia

To help gain an insight into what a daily routine looks like for the 20-year-old, City Studios followed Micah around the CFA recently to find out the work a young footballer puts in to help further their career.

Starting by looking at his all-important breakfast selections, Micah then gives an glimpse into how City’s sports science team help keep the players ideally prepared and provides an insight into the vital work played by City’s physios, kit men and catering staff.

We also see the routine Micah and his colleagues go through by way of pre and post match duties on a typical game day.

Meanwhile, Micah also takes time out to reflect on what has been a season to remember so far, capped by his first team debut and stunning goal when he started in our 3-2 Champions League win away at Red Star Belgrade in December.
