2023 will forever be remembered by everyone connected to Manchester City.

Our men’s team are now the best team in the land and all the world after lifting the Big Five trophies available to us.

Pep Guardiola cemented his status as one of the game’s most iconic managers by guiding us to an historic haul across the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

We are the first English club ever to hold all five honours at the same time.

The Premier League success was our third successive league title and fifth in six years, while we’re now on the hunt for a record breaking fourth in a row.

The FA Cup was then won in a dramatic Manchester derby final before our date with destiny and a first Champions League triumph when we overcame Inter in Istanbul.

We have since lifted the Super Cup and Club World Cup for the first time in Athens and Jeddah respectively to crown ourselves Champions of the World.

It’s not just the senior side that have been winning, with our Elite Development Squad registering a third successive Premier League 2 title and our Under-18s making it four in a row.

Meanwhile, Gareth Taylor‘s team have been pushing hard at the top end of the Barclays Women’s Super League.

There was also a moment of reflection as we lost Club legend Francis Lee in October.

The striker was remembered alongside his great team-mates Colin Bell, who passed in 2021, and serving Club ambassador Mike Summerbee in a statue outside the Etihad Stadium.
