Erling Haaland has expressed his pride at 10-man City's character to grind out a 2-1 Premier League victory over Fulham.

The striker struck a stoppage time winner from the penalty spot to secure a precious three points to put us top of the Premier League tonight.

Alvarez had opened the scoring, before Joao Cancelo was dismissed for bringing down Harry Wilson inside the box, resulting in Andreas Pereira levelling from the spot.

But Haaland made the difference off the bench with the goal and paid tribute to all of his teammates after the victory.

“To win this game 10 against 11, it’s amazing. I’m really proud of every single guy out there today that made it possible to get these three points.

“These points will be really important, so yeah, amazing.

“We have really good vibes, a good atmosphere. We enjoy together and we work hard together.

I can just say I’m really proud today, 10 against 11, it’s really difficult. To win this game is amazing.”

The Norwegian also gave his verdict on his remarkable start to his City career and took the time to shower praise on fellow striker Alvarez.
