Relive Julian Alvarez’s best moments in blue after the Argentine helped City secure a historic fourth successive Premier League title.

Pep Guardiola’s squad is full of diverse and exciting attacking talent and yet Alvarez was called upon the most in the 2023/24 season.

The 24-year-old made 54 appearances across all seven competitions City competed in over the past nine months.

36 of them were in the English top-flight and the Argentine scored 11 goals and assisted nine across those games.

At the start of the season Alvarez scored the decisive strike in our 1-0 win over Newcastle United.

Part way through the season, with Erling Haaland ruled out through injury, Alvarez faced the task of leading City’s line head-on and did so in style.

Four goals and one assist over Christmas and New Year helped City return to winning ways on the road as well as maintaining our unbeaten run at the Etihad.

One of Alvarez’s best games of the campaign came in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. Two goals and an assist in City’s 4-0 triumph over Fluminense saw us lift the trophy in December.
