Ilkay Gundogan continued his superb scoring from as Pep Guardiola‘s side cemented their place at the top of the Premier League with a 16th consecutive victory in all competitions.

The German midfielder hit a brace for the second consecutive game after Rodrigo had given City a first half lead from the penalty spot.
It was Gundogan who won the spot kick after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg clattered into him and whilst Hugo Lloris got a hand to the Spaniard’s low effort, it was not enough to keep it out.
Gundogan doubled our advantage with a close range finish after an exchange of passes with Raheem Sterling and he added our third shortly after the hour mark.
Ederson was the provider, sending a long ball forward, which our No.8 beat Davinson Sanchez to before firing into the bottom corner to wrap up the points.
