THANKS FOR TUNING IN 🤝

Thank you, as ever, for following City's breathless draw with Chelsea via our Matchday Centre.

The international break means Pep Guardiola's side won't be in action until Saturday 25 November when we host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.

However, there will be an MDC for Gareth Taylor's side's trip to Old Trafford when we meet Manchester United in the Barclays Women's Super League on Sunday 19 November at 16:30 (UK).

Blow-by-blow coverage will start at our city rivals' at 15:00 (UK).

See you there 👊

PEP GUARDIOLA REACTION 🗣

The result could be better, but it could be worse. It was a good advert for the Premier League. Both sides tried to win. They started better. They’ve built something new with a lot of young players. We also had our moments. It was a fair result.

RODRIGO REACTION ON SKY 🗣

We feel exhausted to be honest. These type of games, we knew how tough it is to come here. The team they’ve built. They signed massive players. The level of their team has risen. We knew where we were coming. I don’t think it was one of our best performances today. Conceding four goals is not normal to us. Sometimes football is like this, we have to move forward. We have to correct some mistakes.

We want to win, it’s important. We know what we have to do. Big credit to the opponent, they have good players and they were at home. We go to the national team one point ahead in the league. We need to refresh and come back.

MOTM: PHIL FODEN

Phil Foden – The 23-year-old is enjoying his football at the moment and it shows.

Our Academy graduate is a bundle of energy off the ball and has a first touch that makes him the perfect outlet wide on the right.

While he often moves quickly in tight spaces, it was a brief pause and a perfectly weighted pass for Julian Alvarez that teed up the Argentinian to cross for City’s third.

In such an entertaining, high-octane game, Foden’s class was crucial in City scoring four times.
