Decisive!

De Bruyne's goal just five minutes into his Premier League return!

Love a comeback!

We are just the fourth side in Premier League history to have won at least three successive away games despite trailing in each one after Leeds in October 1999, Tottenham in December 2013 and Manchester United in December 2020 (a run of six).

That beautiful first 👌

KDB 🔥

Kevin De Bruyne has scored (1) or assisted (3) a goal in all three of his substitute appearances in all competitions this season. His goal was Manchester City’s 100th in the Premier League against Newcastle, the first side we’ve netted a century against in the competition.

Game changer

Kevin De Bruyne today became the first Manchester City player to both score and assist in a Premier League game as a substitute since Sergio Agüero vs Cardiff in January 2014.

Giant in midfield

It could well have been Kevin De Bruyne but Rodrigo was our driving force for so much of the match. He's our Man of the Match today!

19:46

Rodrigo reaches 50 games unbeaten

Our man hasn't lost a City match since the defeat at Spurs last season. He's so integral.

De Bruyne equals Premier League record

That Oscar Bobb goal was Kevin De Bruyne's 103rd Premier League assist. It equals Wayne Rooney's record for assists in the division.

One more for him to take his rightful place as the greatest playmaker in Premier League history!

Kevin De Bruyne's reaction

I'm dead honestly. It was crazy. I missed this you know. I had a big injury and I needed the time. I worked hard and to come in this stadium, it was more willpower than anything else but it was crazy.

I'm not able to do that for 90 minutes for the moment but I can put in a shift for 20/25 minutes. It can't be bad!

The ball is good but the run from Oscar is amazing. To control and to go around the goalkeeper is top. I looked to his run and if he doesn't run I can't play the ball.
