THANK YOU 💙

Thank you, as ever, for following our final Barclays Women's Super League match of the season on our Matchday Centre.

It wasn't meant to be for City, but there's lots to be excited about for the future after matched our highest-ever points tally in the division.

Regardless of the outcome of the title race, it's been a season to remember.

We'll see you next season 💙

GARETH TAYLOR REACTION 🗣

“A lot of pride,” he began.

“I had a good feeling about today and it was there for us. With all the chances we created, we could have scored double figures.

“Our combination play around the box was really good. It was just that final action, whether it was their goalkeeper making a really good save or our last decision.

“Super proud. 18 games won in a 22 game season is usually enough to win the title and it hasn’t been for us because of goal difference.

“That’s frustrating for us because you never want to lose that way but there have been so many positives about this season and the way this team has played.”

GOLDEN GLOVE

Khiara Keating has won the Barclays Women’s Super League Golden Glove award for 2023/24.

The goalkeeper has claimed nine clean sheets across the campaign, with no other player able to better that tally across the campaign.

It caps off a fantastic individual campaign for the 19-year-old, who has established herself as City’s regular stopper.

GOLDEN BOOT

Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s unrivalled goal tally across 2023/24 has seen her claim the Barclays Women’s Super League Golden Boot.

The Jamaican found the net a remarkable 21 times in just 18 WSL appearances, more than any other player in the English top flight.

In doing so, she become the first City player to claim the prize across our ten seasons as a professional side in the WSL.

Filippa Angeldahl, Ruby Mace, Ellie Roebuck and Demi Stokes will leave us at the end of the season.
