That's it!

Thank you very much for tuning into tonight's Matchday Centre.

We will be back on Sunday afternoon for our Women's FA Cup trip to Arsenal. Our Matchday Centre for that game will begin at 11:00 (UK).

Goodnight! 💙

Gareth Taylor full of praise for the team 🗣

We are showing a real determination now that I've not seem previously.

I think the group has been great and when you think about it as well it's been the first game we've had without Steph being present and she drives the team whether that's playing or not playing and of course Jill [Roord] as well who has been a big loss for us.

But fair play Jessie Park steps up and does well in that position tonight. Coombsy and Angeldahl as well. It bodes well for the future and we are looking forward to the next couple of games.

Gareth Taylor's post-match assessment 🗣

I think there were some good spells in the second period where we started to settle down and play our game a little bit more.

We were a little bit wasteful in possession in the first half and every time we forced passes we didn't really work the process a little bit enough.

We gave them little sniffs but I thought we were really solid. With Khiara at the back, with the two centre-backs as well Alanna stepped in to be fair and hasn't played any minutes for a long time and she gave a good level of performance and Laia of course is such a good player she can play in any position.

So that was good. Yeah just pleased to be through, it's a difficult place to come here [Brisbane Road]. A long journey for us, the first of three London games for us, so have to be really pleased to be in the semi-finals.

The winning moment! 🔥

FT

Through to the semi-finals!

A narrow 1-0 win was all City needed to advance to the final four!

A jaw-dropping long-ranged shot from Yui Hasegawa secured the win for City at Brisbane Road.

WELL DONE, GIRLS! 💙

UNREAL FROM FOWLER!

An spectacular lobbed ball by Greenwood is controlled beautifully by Fowler on the left hand side.

The Australian international then fires a shot towards goal but is denied by Votikova.

Spurs yet to register a shot

I don't want to jinx it but Spurs have not registered a shot on or off target as we enter the final 10 minutes.

But that speaks volumes of how strong City's defensive line has been this evening with Ouahabi, Greenwood, Kennedy and Aleixandri containing any threat Spurs have posed all evening.
