Fast talkers!
Ladies and gentlemen, it may finally happen… we may finally discover the answer to one of life’s big questions: Who is quicker – Leroy Sane or Kyle Walker?
It’s a debate that’s been raging since the beginning of time (or at least when the right-back joined the ranks in the summer of 2017) and the pair have often teased that one day, they’ll put the arguments to bed once and for all with a race to determine who tops the speed rankings.

As Lightning Leroy points out, FIFA are of the opinion the German edges the title, but Quickfire Kyle begs to differ. Keep your eyes peeled on social media to see if the eagerly-awaited challenge goes ahead.
He still thinks he’s quicker than me 🤣 pic.twitter.com/roRWBeRcxz

The Stones of Silence
On a similar theme, it isn’t often Bernardo Silva has the chance to play the trickster… so our Portugal star milked this superb nutmeg on John Stones in training, following Walker’s trend of embarrassing his teammates.
Bernardo even used the same song Walker soundtracks his devilment to. Mean!
I shouted “CLOSE” a second before but I’m pretty sure he’s still adapting to a new country and didn’t understand my english 😂😂 #JohnStones !!@kylewalker2 is this the good song?? pic.twitter.com/02A35rHUBc

Aussie fast-ball
We may be 10,500(ish) miles apart but there’s clearly something contagious spreading around the City Football Group.

WonderWeir
On the subject of silky skills, check this out from Caroline Weir.
With City trailing Birmingham in the FA Women’s Super League, the Scotland international was introduced from the bench and almost single-handedly turned the game on its head – first opening the scoring with a deflected effort and then producing this moment of individual brilliance to set up Nikita Parris for the leveller, before Tessa Wullaert clinched all three points.
Sublime!

Hat-trick hero
A forward’s dream…
Rabbi Matondo enjoyed an unforgettable day, as City’s Elite Development Squad triumphed at Derby to go top of the Premier League 2, bagging a hat-trick.
His final goal – netted in stoppage time – sent him joint top of the PL2 scoring chart with six goals alongside team-mate Nabil Touaizi.
Nice work, Rabbi!
Great performance away from home yesterday from the team🙌🏾always good to contribute with goals👏🏾. We keep going and fighting💪🏾 #GIG https://t.co/VXkOKwoxyV

Morning glory
The ever-cheerful(!) Liam Gallagher awoke with a smile on Sunday morning, following an excellent day of football which saw City rise to the top of the Premier League table.
LG simply couldn’t hide his delight.
Top o the morning - Top o the league as you were LG x

Spiderman, Spiderman
Needless to say, we love a good goal celebration and this one from New York City’s Maxi Moralez is simply Marvel-ous!

American idols
Greetings to our American friends – country music singer-songwriters Chase Rice and Seth Ennis – who sent us this snap during Tuesday’s Champions League triumph over Hoffenheim.
We spent some time with the pair during our pre-season trips to the States. It’s good to see them showing off their City colours!

Leading by example
An inspiration both on and off the pitch, Vincent Kompany really is a true role model.
As influential, intelligent and forward-thinking as he is talented, our skipper is also passionate about politics and social change – and he’s vowed to do something amazing in the city he loves.
In celebration of his testimonial year in Manchester, the Belgian has pledged to ‘shine a spotlight, raise money and to work with partners so that people do not have to sleep rough’ in a bid to tackle homelessness.
A fantastic cause, supported by a City legend.
Yesterday @AndyBurnhamGM and I launched @tackle4mcr, a combined effort to tackle rough sleeping in our region. Here is my open letter to Greater Manchester: https://t.co/qHk4gzhJ48

Once a Blue, always a Blue
Speaking of City legends – and adopted Mancunians – Pablo Zabaleta hit the headlines with an assist and excellent display in West Ham’s win over Manchester United.
The Argentine crafted the opener, latching onto Mark Noble’s through-ball before crossing for Felipe Anderson to convert with a nifty flick.
Needless to say, the ZabMan thoroughly enjoyed the victory and he was invited to reflect on the Hammers’ official YouTube channel.
He really is THE MAN.
