As we prepare to lift the trophy at the Etihad tomorrow afternoon, we take a look at the latest City news from the back pages…
First up, we hear from Ederson, as the Brazilian ‘keeper believes that we can “conquer great things” next season.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the stopper said: “There is always room for improvement.”
“There doesn’t exist a perfect team or a perfect player but I think if we manage to play the same football we can conquer great things next season,” Ederson added. “We play in a different way from most of the other teams. That helps us a lot when we play. I think it’s a very beautiful style.

“I reckon the fans have really enjoyed watching us and hopefully, we will be able to keep the same level next season.
“This is the moment we have all been expecting to arrive. We won the title in advance, but the most pleasant and happiest part is now when they give us the trophy and we can share the moment with our families and our fans.
“I think it’s going to be a great day for all City fans.”
Next we hear from opposition boss David Wagner ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash.
“We like to test ourselves against the best and Manchester City are the best; they are the Champions,” the Huddersfield boss stated in his press conference. “If one football club knows that anything is possible it is us.
“Forget system or formation, the most important thing is not to switch off for a second because that’ll hurt you deeply. You have to make all the right decisions. It’s possible but it’s difficult.
“The excitement in the dressing room grows and grows. Everyone wants to play games like this. If we like to stay in the Premier League, the miracle we’ve been working on, then we have to collect points against these three teams.”
Finally, a fellow Premier League manager is backing Pep Guardiola to win the Manager of the Season award.
Speaking recently, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has stated that he believes our coach is worthy of the individual prize.
“But for me seriously, if we only see the trophies? Of course, it’s Guardiola.” Pochettino stated, as quoted by ESPN. “And with all the context? If we analyse every single context, every single club, with the circumstances, I think Roy Hodgson.
“For me, if you say to me, pick one -- I cannot pick one. I am going to pick two. Pep Guardiola deserves it and Roy Hodgson deserves it. For me there are two winners.”
