“United have monitored Fred, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Marco Verratti, Jean-Michael Seri and Arturo Vidal in recent months, with Mourinho not ruling out the possibility of making two additions to his engine room as part of a squad overhaul.
“By contrast Pep Guardiola only intends to fine tune a City squad that could become the first team in Premier League history to reach 100 points.”
