In the summer months, though, transfer gossip is never far away and that’s where Tuesday’s Media Watch begins…
Sky Sports claim City will battle Manchester United in a bid to sign Harry Maguire this summer.

They write: “Manchester City and Manchester United are set to go head to head for Harry Maguire now that England’s Nations League campaign is over.
“The local rivals both want to sign the England defender this summer and are prepared to enter talks over a deal that would likely smash the record for an English defender.
“His current club Leicester do not want to sell him, however, and it is understood they have therefore not put a valuation on the 26-year-old.
“But one source has told Sky Sports News the Foxes believe he is worth in the region of £80million - more than the world record set by £75m Virgil van Dijk last year.
“Both City and United are understood to be reluctant to pay that much - but any fee would almost certainly break the £50m City spent on signing Kyle Walker from Tottenham in 2017.”
Meanwhile, in Brazil, Gabriel Jesus has impressed national team boss, Tite, ahead of the Copa America, which starts this week.
The Manchester Evening News have the story, with the Selecao boss saying: “I am very happy with the growth of Gabriel - his comeback, his confidence.
“His precision as a finisher is more accurate, he is smiling, his mood is better. He’s only 21 years old.
In the women’s international game, England veteran Karen Carney has been singing the praises of City’s Keira Walsh.
Quoted in the Manchester Evening News, Carney said: “She [Walsh] is so talented, I just want her to relax and play because she’s an absolute joy to watch.
“I’m lucky I get to sit on the bench and watch her play and do her thing it’s an absolute joy to watch.”
That’s all for today, but we’ll be back with more paper talk at the same time tomorrow.
