Jeremy Doku played the full match and registered an assist as Belgium beat Estonia 5-0 in a Euro 2024 qualifier in Brussels on Tuesday.

Our new winger lined up in a front three with Romelu Lukaku and Leandro Trossard.

He can pleased with his work throughout the game, completing six dribbles, taking four shots and playing 54 passes.

It was an unlikely source for the opening goal, with central defender Jan Vertonghen finding the net in the fourth minute.

It was two for Belgium after 18 minutes when Lukaku set up Arsenal’s Trossard.

Lukaku added two of his own before the hour mark to all but seal the points for Domenico Tedesco’s team.

Tedesco made several changes as the second half wore on, but Doku remained on the pitch until the final whistle.

One of those fresh faces, Charles de Ketelaere, completed the scoring on the night with Belgian’s fifth after impressive work from our young winger in the 88th minute.

Kevin De Bruyne was not part of the Belgium squad as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The result leaves Belgium top of Group F with 13 points from five matches and in the driving seat to qualify for next summer’s tournament in Germany.

In the October international break, they will travel to Austria before hosting Sweden.

Doku will now return to Manchester to prepare for City’s Premier League trip to West Ham United on Saturday 16 September.
