Pep Guardiola’s history makers qualified for the annual curtain raiser for the English domestic season by winning last year’s Premier League, while our opponents reached this match with FA Cup success.

We will be looking to lift the trophy for the seventh time in our history, with Guardiola already having won it twice with City.

The showpiece will be our final game before the start of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, when we will be going for a record-extending fifth title in a row.

It will also be the 194th competitive Manchester derby, with City winning 61 and losing 79 of the previous 193.

As always, the official Man City app will provide comprehensive coverage of the match from one handy place.

Our Matchday Centre, providing live text updates, stats and analysis, gets under way two hours prior to kick-off, with audio commentary also available from kick-off.
