Julian Alvarez’s stock in Fantasy Premier League has continued to rise following impressive displays before the October international break.

Since City returned from September’s pause in domestic action, the Argentine has started in all four of our league assignments.

This started with a fine 3-1 win over West Ham at the London Stadium and a professional 2-0 success over Nottingham Forest before narrow, successive defeats to Wolves (2-1) and Arsenal (1-0).

Against the Hammers, the versatile forward collected nine FPL points thanks to his fine assists in the capital as we came from a goal down to collect three points.

The first of these came when he teed up Jeremy Doku who waltzed into the area and fired home our equaliser before Bernardo Silva gave us the lead.

Alvarez then sent a pinpoint cross into Erling Haaland’s path who made no mistake from close range.

He was only able to pick up one point in our victory over Steve Cooper’s men when he made way for Nathan Ake after Rodrigo was dismissed early in the second half.

But he followed this up with an eight-point haul thanks to his sublime free-kick to level the scores in our eventual, unfortunate defeat at Molineux.

To round off the month, the 23-year-old claimed a further two points in our 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Further notable mentions across our previous four league outings go to Phil Foden and Kyle Walker.

After scoring against Nottingham Forest, our Academy graduate claimed 17 overall points across the 360 minutes of Premier League action.

Meanwhile, the England defender tallied 15 points thanks to an assist and a clean sheet against Cooper’s team.

FPL returns after the international break on Saturday, 21 October as City welcome Brighton to the Etihad Stadium.
