Taylor’s press conference will be streamed live on mancity.com and our official app before written and video recaps are published.

LAST TIME OUT

In our last outing, a Lauren Hemp brace ensured we recorded a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at the Joie Stadium.

The Villans broke the deadlock in the first half when Danielle Turner cleverly hooked an effort into the top corner of the hosts’ net.

However, a quickfire brace by our England international after the interval turned the game on its head as we signed off on home soil in 2023 with another triumph.

PREVIOUS MEETING

We last faced the Toffees in the Continental Cup in October where we earned a fine 2-1 win on Merseyside.

Jess Park opened the scoring in the 21st minute before Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw doubled our advantage shortly after half-time.

Toni Duggan then halved the deficit in second-half stoppage time, but it didn’t impact the result as we produced a convincing display away from home.
