Gareth Taylor‘s side went unbeaten on home soil for the entirety of the 2022/23 campaign, claiming a memorable win over Chelsea in March.

Stunning strikes from Filippa Angeldahl and Lauren Hemp were enough to claim a deserved 2-0 win over the reigning WSL champions on that occasion.

City’s season begins in the capital seven days before Emma Hayes’ side make the journey north though, facing West Ham United at the Chigwell Construction stadium.

As always, you can follow comprehensive coverage of every WSL clash this season on the official Man City app.

Our Matchday Centre gets under way 90 minutes before kick-off, providing analysis, stats and live text commentary for every fixture.

A detailed match report will also follow soon after the final whistle, as well as the thoughts of Gareth Taylor and a player.

Those with notifications turned on will also be alerted to all the key moments across the game, while you can also follow the action over on our dedicated matchday Twitter account: @ManCityWomen.
