Manchester City’s UEFA Women’s Champions League Round Two, second leg clash with Real Madrid is available to watch live on CITY+.

Gareth Taylor’s side welcome Madrid back to the Academy Stadium for the decisive leg tonight, Wednesday 8 September, with the match getting underway at 19:00 (UK).

It’s all to play for with last week’s first leg away in the Spanish capital having ended in a 1-1 draw.

We have entered Europe’s elite competition at the second-round stage, and an aggregate victory over Las Blancas would then see City safely into the group stages of the reformatted competition.

Replacing the knockout Round of 16, the remaining teams will be split into four groups of four, with the two highest-placed sides progressing into the quarter-finals.

After pushing holders Barcelona to their absolute limits in last season’s edition of the last eight, City will be desperate to make our 2021-22 European campaign one to remember but know Madrid will offer us a stern test of our credentials.

Las Blancas finished second in the Spanish league last season and, boasting explosive Swedish forward and Olympic silver medallist Kosovare Asllani among their ranks, will be keen to make a mark in their inaugural Champions League appearance.

It all points towards an enthralling decider, which you can catch live with a City+ subscription.
