City forward Jess Park came on as a substitute in England Under-23s’ 1-1 draw with Spain on Monday evening.

Taking to the pitch in the 62nd minute, Park looked to help make an impact as England looked to extend their lead after an Ella Morris goal gave the hosts the lead.

The City number 16 added a fresh spark in England’s squad as Emma Coates’s side dominated the majority of the second half.

But a brief spell of possession for Spain allowed Paula Arana Montes to head home an equaliser for Spain in the 85th minute.

Earlier in the day, Julie Blakstad featured for the entirety of Norway’s 4-2 win over France on Monday afternoon while Lois Marley-Paraskevas played in England Under-19s’ 3-3 draw with Holland.

With Blakstad deployed in midfield, Norway dominated from kick-off.

A brace from Synne Hansen followed by two goals for Iris Omarsdottir saw the hosts take a 4-0 lead inside 25 minutes.

Substitute Kessya Bussy’s strike in the 56th minute gave France a sliver of hope to get back into the game, but they failed to net another until the sixth minute of added time with Ines Benyahia’s goal a consolation.

For Marley-Paraskevas and the England Under-19s, they end their 2023 international calendar with a draw.

The City young City midfielder was named in the starting XI and was an important figure as England took an early lead inside two minutes courtesy of a Michelle Agyemang strike.

Holland equalised just before half-time but three minutes after the restart Freya Godfrey regained England’s advantage before Agyemang made it 3-1 five minutes later.

In a high intensity game, Holland pressed to find a second, and did so with less than 30 minutes to play before Lotte Keukelaar scored a late equaliser.
