Erling Haaland's five goals and Kevin De Bruyne's four assists propelled City to a 6-2 victory over Luton Town and secured our place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola‘s defending champions made an electric start at Kenilworth Road, with Haaland sweeping in from De Bruyne‘s cutback after just three minutes.

The deadly duo combined again for our second of the evening 15 minutes later, with De Bruyne sliding Haaland through on goal to calmly finish beyond Tim Krul.

Five minutes before the interval the striker completed his treble, again latching onto a sublime De Bruyne pass before dinking the ball perfectly over Krul for the eighth hat-trick of his City career and his 25th goal of the season across all competitions.

The hosts pulled one back in spectacular fashion shortly before the interval with Jordan Clark curling from 25 yards into the top corner before he scored again shortly after the break to make it 3-2.

Three minutes later, Kyle Walker fed De Bruyne who squared for Haaland to tap into an empty net for his fourth goal of the evening before the forward blasted in his fifth, becoming the first City player ever to score five times on two separate occasions for the club.
